About me.

I love writing “About Me” copy when it’s not actually about me. I’d much rather tell your story than my own. It’s not because I’m shy, but because I’m curious and effusive. I find great joy in sharing what outstanding brands stand for and how they view the world. I love crediting teammates for excellent work. That’s the kind of Creative Director, Copywriter, and collaborator I am. But alas, this is my website and this is my About Me page, so let’s get to it.

I’m a freelance Creative Director/Copywriter who cut my teeth in Chicago before moving back to my hometown of Minneapolis to give my kids the experience of feeling their eyeballs freeze in the wintertime. Over my career, I have helped large agencies and small agencies drive awareness for a wide array of brands through award-winning creative work. More recently, I’ve led teams of creatives and worked to hone the creative process within agencies to be more efficient, strategic, collaborative and—most importantly—human.
